Brown headed cow bird attempting to woo a lady.
Going through and storing some of my older photos and I came across this beauty.
It felt like every time I didn’t have my camera there would be tons of courting on the fence. I’d run to grab the camera and bam they’d flush 🙄
But I did get lucky a few times 😉

I absolutely love macro photography and recommend everyone try it at least twice. I’m personally a fan of all the little details. Like all the insects on the milk weed 😍
But anywho photos from the yard in the month of July, fall is coming quick and I want to remember all the plants and bugs before the go 😭

The first photo is of the Edgeworthia (paperbush). It is a native to China/Himalayas and is commonly seen in gardens. Planted for the beautiful yellow flowers that bloom before anything else (native that is to us). A nice sign that spring is coming (if you haven’t already seen the blooms of our native and non native plants 😊)
The second photo is of a Carolina Wren (left) and a White throated sparrow (right). Both enjoying the feeder and signing songs to attract any mates in the area. Soon we’ll have little ones of all species out and about 😊
