Like the majority of the world, 2020 was going to ‘Be My Year’.

I had been set on hiking the Appalachian Trail since 2017 and it was finally going to happen!

But after only 6 days of being on trail, suddenly the world came crashing down and I ended up voluntarily getting off the trail when the ATC asked all hikers to please stay off until further notice. Originally, I had hoped this was going to be a temporary quarantine, minor set back, but I was going to get back on once it all settled down.

Obviously that didn’t happen and while I was quarantining I borrowed a family members’ DSLR so I could capture a couple of shots of Michael planting in his parent’s garden.

It was a very weird period in my life and I’m glad I got to spend it with family.
