Katie and Jerome planned a beautiful intimate wedding in the mountains of North Carolina.

These two have been best friends for a long time and it definitely showed. Not only in the way they looked at one another but in the love that was very present in all their friends and family that surrounded them.

It was the summer of 2020 and as we all know, there was a lot of uncertainty. But getting to photographer their Intimate Wedding was so special. These two reminded me of why I love documenting genuine moments and emotions.

When I arrived it started drizzling and it looked like the entire day was going to be overcast. When the ceremony started the rain slowly started letting up and the clouds started to part. By the time the ceremony was over and we’d finished the family formals, the sun shone through and brought so much wonderful energy!

I honestly could not have asked for better lighting and our golden hour was PERFECT!
