Shenandoah National Park Couples Session

Couples, National Park

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kaitlin and Cody for their Shenandoah National Park Couples Session. This dynamic duo is not only married, but are fellow out of state wedding photographers who also enjoy hiking and exploring. It’s no surprise then that they wanted to have an adventure session that reflected their love for traveling and hiking.

Shenandoah National Park was the perfect choice for their session, with its stunning vistas and sprawling trails. We met that afternoon so I could show them one of my favorite areas of the park to visit during the winter time. Their excitement and love for each other was palpable as we walked along the trails and stopped to capture special moments.

Unfortunately, the clouds were thick and the sunset didn’t happen as planned. But we didn’t let that deter us! Instead, we used the beautiful blue hour to our advantage and played with car lights and lanterns to create a unique and romantic atmosphere.

One of my favorite photos from the session is of Kaitlin and Cody getting close with the lantern in between them and the blue hour sky as the background. The love and connection between them is so strong, and it really shines through in this photograph.

Overall, their Shenandoah National Park couples session was a truly special experience. The natural beauty of the park and the couple’s love for each other made for an unforgettable day of photography. We can’t wait to see where their adventures take them next!
