We had the pleasure of celebrating with Hannah and Brian on their special day at the beautiful Glass Hill Venue in Bedford County, Virginia. Nestled amidst the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, this stunning venue offers a picturesque setting for any wedding celebration.

The Glass Hill Venue features a charming lodge that serves as the perfect backdrop for both indoor and outdoor events. The lodge boasts high ceilings, a Chestnut mantle, and large windows that offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The venue’s outdoor area is perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hour, and receptions.

Hannah and Brian were exceptionally welcoming and were excited for their guests to arrive. They were surrounded by their loved ones and although they may not prefer being the center of attention, they absolutely nailed it on their special day.

The anticipation was especially charged considering they elected for a more traditional first look during the ceremony. The pressure was on to capture a reaction from Brian as they first saw each other, but it was a beautiful moment and doing it live is such a thrill! The reaction over the shoulder of the couple as they walk down the aisle is one of my favorite shots to plan for on the wedding day.

The reception moved inside the lodge, which was beautifully decorated to match the theme of the day. After they had some food, I stole them away for some golden hour portraits. Hannah and Brian were a joy to work with and were so easy to pose for genuine smiles. Their sense of humor kept them both smiling and the joy of the day had them both glowing with love!

The rest of the night was filled with dancing, singing, and good energy, it was the definition of being surrounded by loved ones. When it came time for the sendoff, the sparklers lit the way to a bright future for Hannah and Brian and they couldn’t stop smiling the entire night!
